Privacy Policy

Capture - Me allows users to create private events, invite friends, capture photos together, and release photos when the event host decides to share them.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how photos are handled.

We may collect the following information:

• Email address for account creation and login
• Display name for guest users or event participation
• Event information created by users
• Photos uploaded within events
• Photo metadata such as upload time and participant display name, if enabled
• Temporary session information needed for guest participation

Users may join events without creating an account. In this case, Capture - Me may store a display name and temporary event session information so the user can participate in the event.

Guest access may expire automatically or be removed from the device by the user.

• To provide login and account access
• To allow users to create, join, and manage events
• To upload, store, and display event photos
• To allow hosts to release photos to event participants
• To allow participants to download released photos
• To improve app reliability and user experience

Photos are private by default. Event photos are not automatically shared with all participants.

The event host decides when photos are released. The host may choose to release all photos or only favorite photos.

Depending on the host’s selected settings, released photos may be shown with or without details such as participant display name and timestamp.

Participants may download photos that have been released by the event host.

Once photos are downloaded to a user’s device, Capture - Me no longer controls those local copies.

Photos are stored securely and may be automatically deleted after a limited period, for example after 30 days.

Users or hosts may also delete photos where the app allows this.

Capture - Me may request access to:

• Camera, to capture photos during events
• Photo library, to save released photos to the device

These permissions are used only for core app functionality.

We do not sell personal data.

We do not share personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

We take reasonable measures to protect user data and event photos.
